Banana Leaves Rice @ Anuja

I'm not a big fan of banana leaves rice...didn't like the after feeling of "too full"...plus, the amount of energy my body needs to digest the food causing fatigue.

It was our colleague from Budapest who wants to try Indian food and I thought of Anuja, the one highly recommended by Pooi Ling.

ground floor
The restaurant has got 2 floors. Group floor has no air-con. Get to the first floor for a more comfortable air-con dining area.

Anuja is famous for its briyani rice. I didn't try much of briyani at other places but according to my colleague, this is the best she ever had!

Comes with a piece of fried chicken/fish, an hard boiled egg, free flow of papadum, vegetables, sambal & curry only @ RM8.50!

Briyani with Chicken

The briyani smells & taste good, the papadum is the best I ever had! You can go on and on and on having that before, during and after eating. The chicken & fish are still hot when serve to you....quite big piece..hehe. Chicken is tender & fresh, the fish is even better!

White Rice with Fish

If briyani is too heavy for your, they also have white rice, serves with a piece of fried chicken/fish, the same free flow side dishes (except for the egg) @ only RM6.50.

Bitter Gout

This is something I've not seen or heard before....fried bitter gout. It comes together with the rice. Don't forget to take out the seeds to reduce the bitterness.

 Manggo Lassi

Manggo Lassi @ only RM3. It's soooo thick...simply delicious!

How to get there?
Anuja is right opposite Pudu Raya bus station, same row with KFC.
You can park your car at the small open space private car park next to KFC.

Food: Should try.
Ambience: Air-conditioned (1st Floor).
Price: Very reasonable
