Dim Sum @ Grand Imperial

Miss dim sum & thought of this restaurant recommended by friends. It will be THE place I will have my dim sum from now on. Quality food at reasonable price.

The best har kau I ever tasted. Even better than the one at Chynna at KL Hilton. The prawns within can make you full & it's only RM7.80 for 4 pieces.

The best zhu qiong fun. The thickness is just perfect with a perfect texture.

Ever tasted a stir fried carrot cake that melts in your mouth? The combination of flour is do little that you can taste the amount of carrot in it.

A must try for you to tell if a dim sum restaurant is good. Char siew pao is of the 3 must try items besides har kau & Siu mai.

The pork ribs so tender served with delicious yam cubes.

One of my favorite dim sum...chicken feet.

Compare to the normal fried prawn roll, this one is overwhelmed with prawns! The mayonnaise has a little wasabi in it. Something different.

My friend who is a xiao long pao lover commented this is the best among Ding Dai Feng & Dragon-I.

Their sze chuan soup has a lot of ingredients in it. The taste is rich, unlike sometimes what you get is just the sour taste.

In short, we (3 persons) had a totally satisfying Sunday's lunch. Money well spent.

Kimchi Jigae @ 大长今

The best kimchi soup I've tasted... It's thick & rich, not too spicy, not overly sour. It's a must try!

Kitchen Creatures @ Centerpoint Bandar Utama

By far, this place is the best value-for-money spaghetti restaurant I've been to.

RM14 Seafood Marinara

RM13 Aglio Olio with Shrimp

The restaurant has a simple yet cost settings. Sitting with family at their round tables creates a feeling of dining at home.

It's also a perfect place to hang-out with friends. Be there fir few hours and try their desserts!

Best of all mention, it's TAX FREE!!!

Pao Xiang (宝香) Bak Kut Teh @ The Pavilion

It's not the soupy type if BKT. The soup is more like gravy. Dark, thick, sticky. I love soupy BKT and ironically, I will always miss this one. The taste always pull me back here despite the amount of fats :P

I always go to the one at Pavilion 6th floor, where all the fine dinings are. So you get a feel of how much it would cost? Let's just say, minimum RM18 per person.

Pao Xiang is also at 1-Utama old wing LG floor.

Yippee Cup @ SS2

It's a sunny hot afternoon...perfect timing to have a cold Original Bubble Tea with pearls. Hmmmm....yummy :D

Their original milk tea is of own recipe. You won't find the same in any Taiwanese restaurant/cafe/stalls.

Yippee Cup is also in Plaza Mont Kiara.

Dont believe me? Try it yourself!

BBQ Chicken @ 1-Utama

My favourite salad for dinner. RM11.50 Korean Charboiled Chicken Salad. It's tasty, juicy, appetizing and not too heavy.

If you like fried chicken, try theirs. They use olive oil. Not so sinful :)

They are also in Jaya One.

Weekend food explore...

Sweet & sour pork set at RM17.90++

I like their minced pork rice better than Feng Lai. Overall, the 2 restaurants are very similar in terms of concept, menu, service & price.

Umai-ya @ Damansara Utama

RM48++ ALA-CARTE JAPANESE buffet (order & served) at a proper Japanese restaurant with COZY ambience, where foods are served with presentation, plus FREE FLOW of Tiger Beer, sounds like a must-try?
